A great Love Poem: Mine eyes…
Love-Poem Relationship Romance
A true love poem is rare but when someone write a true love poem it comes from his/her heart. A true love poem is the thing which comes from some heavenly place. Did you tried to write any love letter or love poem?
This love poem was written by B.F. Faulkner and first publish on his blog, which you will get a link after reading this post.
Mine Eyes ...
You are truly ... the most
beautiful thing mine eyes have beholden. If only you could hold me as you hold
mine eyes ....
My heart claws within my
chest .. it does not wish to be
contained .. mere bone and sinew cannot detain it. Its constraints .. a thoracic
prison impeding it from life .. it beats for you and you alone .. and without
you it would beat no more …
So happy and so sad … my body’s
parts sing and cry for you. Mine eyes doth dance upon your body, upon your form;
they sing a spectrum of colors, of love and of passion. They cover you with
their gaze. They lie upon you .. the weight of their stare pressing upon your beauty.
Yet my fingers, they mourn
… for they hear the song of mine eyes and cannot touch you … they cannot feel
your body. They cannot grab you and hold you, they cannot feel the smoothness
of your thigh .. the touch of your skin,
How my fingers wish they
were mine eyes. How they wish they could linger on your skin. That they could
follow your contours and touch your flesh … my fingers … my poor fingers … my
poor sad fingers …
